Night Elf Strat (but sucks)
Adil here. While playing FT at gifford's house using adrenaline map, i learnt something about night elves- very little damage absorbers...
if you do manage to get a mountain giant/ druid of the claw, that's fine, but there are more melees in other races, especially orcs. anyway, huntresses are essential, plus archers backing up. Dont get glaive throwers if u hv giants/chimaeras...
u should hv a good priestess or KOTG. Use ultimate spell while behind melee units. Research Roar in bear form- it's a powerful skill, i mean, increase att by 25%... anyway, mountain giants should research the 2 skin upgrades, so spells n dmg don't affect them much. this makes them brilliant as absorbers. claws fight slightly behind or at flanks. Huntresses just behind, cos range sux, but moon glaive upgrade gd for finishing and dmging multiple units.
archers for piercing and "free dmg" if u keep em protected. finally throw in a couple of chimaeras n hippogryphs. hippogryphs (or hipp archs) protect chimaera. chims do not go through battlefield, they should go around them cos they r weak (armor wise) then target siege units or buildings especially towers.
oh yeah, talons...use cyclone on 1. hero. 2. melee guys. 3. spell casters if u're bored. heroes gone, backbone gone. melees gone, rangers no protection. so, here it goes, 1 hero (5 food) 3 huntresses (9) 2 mountain giants (14) 5 archers (10) 5 hippogryphs (10) if u wanna make hipp archers then ok. 3 druids of claw (12) 2 chimaeras (10) wisps (10) 5 talons (10) total 90.

true enough dodo, nightelves require alot of aerial backup and ranged backup too. huntresses shouldnt be your main line of defence.You need a wall of mountain giants(srry, i meant 4 or 5, but they are fat anyway.)Hippogryph archers should be your backup main and chimaeras just come in once in a while and kill your any ecaping troops. this is because chimaeras are just too bulky!
ya. i agree with u...mountain giants take up a fat lot of food...and they're not as strong dmg wise as frost wyrms...nothing as powerful as freezing breath...unless u noe how to use it.
this strat is only good if u are good with the keyboard and the mouse
not me... i'm bound to the mouse and some minor hotkeys
